About the Author
Ben Bratton is an American épée fencer and Olympic hopeful from Queens, New York. Bratton began fencing when he was 11 years old with the Peter Westbrook Foundation (PWF).
As a member of the U.S Men’s Epee team, he competed in the 2006 World Fencing Championships in Turin, Italy; 2009 World Fencing Championships in Antalya, Turkey; 2010 World Fencing Championships in Paris, France and 2011 World Championships in Catania, Italy.
He was the winner of a team silver medal at the 2010 World Fencing Championships in Paris, France. The silver medal finish would be the first ever by a US men’s epee team at the event.
When he isn’t training or competing, Ben likes coaching , reading, writing, traveling and hanging out with friends and family.
